Anika noni rose is an American performer and singer. Her most well-known role is her role as Tiana in The Princess and the Frog. Tiana was Disney's very first black princess. She is an American singer and actress. She is best known for playing Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent as seen in The Princess and the Frog (2009). The most famous of her roles is the role of Lorrell Robinson in the Oscar Award-winning film Dreamgirls (2005) as well as her portrayal of LaVerne Jinglebox Ganner in the Starz series Power.
